My home was built in 1950s, situated in the heart of Mapua, near the water. I am seeking one or two boarders to share the house, (could be two friends, couple or mother/child ).I will be still living on the property but moving to an upstairs unit next to the house above a garage. I have lived here for 35 years, its a humble lovely wee place near the water, lots of bird life and nice garden. It’s not super flash or fancy but warm and cozy, insulated in ceiling and underneath. I am 64, it’s just me and the cat, called Pumpkin. I lead a very quiet lifestyle and have a casual job at one of the Hospice Op shops, which is a lot of fun.

About Us: We’re an adventurous and outdoor-loving family with two wonderful girls, aged 8 and 10, and a friendly dog. We love exploring new cultures, drinking tea, art, dancing, reading and being in nature, and we’re looking for someone to join us in our semi-rural home! I work full time in women’s health care and community services so am not here during the day.
What We Offer:
Private Accommodation: Enjoy your own private cute and cozy cabin in the trees plus full welcoming use of the main house and all facilities. (bathroom is shared with family)
Utilities Included: Free accommodation, internet, power and water.
Petrol Covered: All travel with children covered plus extra for you.
Beautiful environment: We are right next to Faulkners bush. I am open to a dog if they are friendly and get along with mine.
Lots of free time: You will have lots of free time to travel, study, work or relax.
What we would love from you:
Prepare dinners, light housework, pick up from school and walk the dog week on week off.
Flexible Schedule:
Week 1: Tues – Fri afterschool help with children
Week 2: 2-3hrs light housework anytime
Approx 20 hours a fortnight.
I can be totally flexible and am very understanding and open.
Requirements:
Must have driver’s license and be a nonsmoker, prefer if you have your own car
A passion for children and a love for dogs.

This is a lovely room with a bed, set of drawers, wardrobe and modern Television. Recently widowed so miss company in the home. I have a darling toy poodle who is well behaved and great company and gives a lot of love. My Home is in Richmond, within walking distance to bus stop and Richmond Mall. My house is clean and modern. I am retired and go to Waimea Ladies Club, I like to do water aerobics and plenty of walking to shops and bus stop and movies. I would like to share my house with someone who is clean and tidy and always cleans up after a meal; and keeps their room and the bathroom tidy after use. I have the Internet. Lovely warm gas fire in the winter. Visitors are welcome, but no men in the home sharer’s room. I have a spa bath for occasional use. I am seeking someone who is friendly and a pleasant person. Must be employed.

I have converted a motel into really lovely, warm, sunny, private and comfortable flats. Flat 10 is available for a lodger at $280 per week. Payment includes a fridge, off street parking, and a coin laundry on site. The flat is a two minute walk to town, supermarket, pub, cafes, yoga, pilates, bowls, etc. Murchison also has a hospital and a weekly bus service to Richmond. More photos are available.
